What is Project Graduation?
Project Graduation is an all-night (lock-in) party that is celebrated the night of graduation. This year it will be held at Urban Air from 11pm – 5am. It is for graduates only and the evening is filled with entertainment, food, and prizes.
How can I volunteer to work the Project Graduation Party?
It’s super easy to sign-up. A link to the Sign-up Genius volunteer form will be available on this website in the March timeframe. Click on the Party Volunteer Sign-up button above.
Do only Senior parents help with Project Graduation?
No! Project Graduation is a community event and requires over 300 volunteers to run smoothly. Parents, grandparents, family friends and FHS alumni who graduated at least 2 years ago are welcome to volunteer. In fact, we highly encourage underclassmen parents to get involved so you can experience PG before your student does. Let’s be honest, senior parents are exceptionally busy during graduation, usually entertaining family and sometimes out-of-town guests. The involvement of underclassmen parents makes graduation night less stressful and more enjoyable for senior parents. As an underclassmen parent, you will appreciate the support of other parents when your child is a senior!
If I am unavailable to work the party, are there other ways to help out?
Yes indeed! We have a number of activities that take place throughout the school year to support Project Graduation. Your involvement can be as great or small as you wish. We appreciate any amount of time that volunteers are willing to give. There is a place for you! Please check out the Volunteer Opportunities section of this website.
How can I donate to Project Graduation?
We seek contributions for sponsorship as well as donations of food and prizes. Please check out the Sponsors/Donate section of this website. You may make a monetary donation via our Venmo account (@FHS-Project-Grad).
